We are opening our March activities at the STEM Pula event on 3 March 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00, in the park near Ulica Vladimira Nazora and Vidikovac Primary School.
This marks the start of a series of STEM activities along the coast, which will take place throughout March at attractive public seaside locations as part of the „STEMerica moves on“ project.
After Pula, the STEM journey continues in Kvarner and Istria, with the following events awaiting you in the first half of March:
- 4 March 2026 (16:00 - 18:00) - STEM Riva Mali Lošinj, Trg Republike Hrvatske 7-8, Mali Lošinj

All the activities take place in open, public spaces, squares, parks and seafront promenades, so that science and technology are accessible to everyone.
In the second half of March, events await you in the Town of Grobnik and in Zagreb, intended for children, young people, parents and everyone who loves science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

We invite everyone interested to join us and discover, through entertaining experiments, logic challenges and hands-on workshops, just how interesting, creative and inspiring STEM can be.
At the events, visitors can look forward to the "Cryptography" workshops, while the "A trace in the ink" workshop will be held in Zagreb, alongside a range of other interactive STEM activities through which children and young people will be able to explore, experiment and learn through hands-on work. Through fun and challenging tasks, participants will develop:
- logical and analytical thinking
- mathematical and digital competences
- problem-solving ability
- creativity and innovation
- teamwork and communication skills
- a basic understanding of technology and of the engineering way of thinking
The aim of the activities is to spark the interest of children and young people in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and to show them how knowledge can be applied in real life - outside the classroom, in the community and in public spaces.
The „STEMerica moves on“ project continues to connect the coast through knowledge, creativity and innovation, bringing STEM content closer to a wider audience and creating opportunities for the development of future scientists, engineers and innovators.
The project is implemented under the grant call „Strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations to promote STEM" (project code SF.2.4.06.04.0122), co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus and the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
