Get ready for an evening full of discovery, creativity and scientific adventure - the Science Evening is coming to Središće Primary School on 3 December 2025, from 5 p.m.to 7 p.m.

The school corridors will turn into a small STEM world where pupils can explore, create and try out the technologies of the future. Pupils can look forward to an exciting combination of science, creativity and technology, ideal for everyone who loves discovering how things work.

As part of the “STEMerica moves on” project, FabLab brings three exciting workshops that combine play and learning.  

Alongside these activities, the FabLab association will run a series of interactive STEM workshops through the “STEMerica moves on” project, introducing children to logical thinking and touching on robot control, recycling and biomaterials, all through hands-on work adapted to their age and experience.

During the evening, pupils will be able to enjoy the Mammutico corner, where large foam blocks become material for creating imaginative constructions and inventive models. Part of the atmosphere will be rounded off by a guitar made from recycled materials, which pupils will be able to try out and discover what creativity in the service of sustainability sounds like.

A 3D printer will also be on display, thanks to which pupils will be able to see how a thin filament thread creates different 3D shapes and models, layer by layer. They will have the chance to examine finished 3D-printed objects, try them out and understand how modern technologies turn digital ideas into real objects.

The “STEMerica moves on” project, run by the FabLab association, allows pupils to get to know STEM fields through free workshops, educational materials and expert guidance. The project is implemented with co-financing from the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus and with the support of the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

The Science Evening at Središće Primary School (Ulica Savezne Republike Njemačke 2a 10020 Zagreb) will be an ideal opportunity for pupils to explore STEM first-hand, learn something new and have a good time doing it. See you at a gathering full of curiosity, inspiration and small scientific wonders!
