We spent the past weekend in the Czech Republic, where, as part of our Maker Faire tour, we presented our STEMerica project - this time in picturesque Brno!

Among the workshops we ran at the event, our Van de Graaff generator was by far the most popular attraction - it literally made visitors' hair stand on end

We exhibited on both days of this Maker Faire and, since we were well staffed, every one of our members had the chance to walk around the fair and find inspiration for future workshops back at our FabLab!

Once again, our participation in this Maker Faire was supported by our partner association Institute for Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation and its BIOPLAnet project - their bicycle that shreds plastic bottle caps warmed up the autumn atmosphere
