At the end of last week, on Friday and Saturday 26 and 27 August, FabLab organised STEAM Week, bringing together representatives of schools and local communities that organise STEAM popularisation events on the one hand, and representatives of projects (“STEMerica” (FabLab), “BIOPLAnet” (Institute for Entrepreneurial Education and Innovation), “Mobile ZEZ Centre” (Professor Balthazar Association), “STEAM Educators” (Institute for the Popularisation of Science) and the associations Virtualci and Bioteka) on the other, with the aim of networking and increasing the number of similar events - one of the main missions of the “STEMerica” project.

Over the two days, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences of organising popular-science events, to gain insight into the content and offerings of currently active projects, and to learn about the mobile installations available through some of them.
