This weekend we had the chance to take part with a cryptography workshop at the Children's Weekend in Opatija! The children enthusiastically explored the secrets of encryption, encoding messages and solving puzzles that challenged their logical thinking and teamwork.

Our workshop allowed participants to learn in an entertaining way about the importance of data security, simple message encoding and the history of cryptography. We saw plenty of laughter and excitement as the children successfully solved enigmatic tasks and uncovered hidden secrets!

It was a wonderful experience, both for the children and for us - to see how they fell in love with mathematics, logic and technology, and all of it through interactive play and creative learning. This was an opportunity to show how STEM can be connected with play and how we can learn from everyday challenges, all with plenty of fun.

We are proud to be part of this project, which allows children to explore, makes science exciting and motivates them to get involved in creative and innovative activities. Our mission through the STEMerica moves on project keeps growing, and every encounter with young minds confirms just how important these activities are for their development!
