As part of the STEMerica project we will be holding a three-day workshop on 3D modelling, an introduction to 3D printing and making soap moulds, from 9 to 11 May 🙂
There is no charge for taking part, but please sign up only if you are able to attend all three days.
The first day is set aside for 3D modelling and related content, and if you have your own laptop please bring it with you. On the first day we will show participants the basics of 3D modelling in the online program Tinkercad. We will also work on practical models.
On the second day participants will be introduced to 3D printing and will learn how to transfer 3D models from Tinkercad into the other programs needed to communicate with 3D printing machines (slicing).
On the third day we will be making soap moulds, and at the workshop participants will make – and take home with them – their own independently designed, one-of-a-kind soaps 🙂
Workshop dates: 9, 10 and 11 May 2022
Workshop time: 16:00 – 18:00
Venue: the FabLab premises, Ilica 69
Please note that the workshops are completely FREE OF CHARGE, but we ask that you sign up only if you can take part on all three days of the workshop 🙂
